Race For Vision
L'Occitane engages its employees in the fight against avoidable blindness with its foundation.
We'll let you discover in two scrolls how L'Occitane unites and raises awareness among its employees for the third year in a row.
The reasons
for success
Since 2016, the L'OCCITANE Foundation has set up a program, Union For Vision 10 by 20, aimed at combating avoidable blindness worldwide.
To pass on the Foundation's values to employees, the group chose SquadEasy to set up a challenge, combining physical activity and responsible commitment.
"What we want is to give our employees a taste for the Foundation's actions through physical activity"
Julie Goldenstein, Head of Internal Communication and Employer Brand chez L’OCCITANE Group
In addition to its Foundation program, L'Occitane wanted to address two issues:
- Involve as many international employees as possible in the program
- Promote their well-being.
The company therefore created Race For Vision, a dedicated white-label SquadEasy application.
This fun, connected challenge, combining physical activity and employee involvement, has raised funds to support projects to combat blindness in its subsidiaries and distributors.
350,000 was raised for the Foundation, thanks to the 777,472 km covered by all users, i.e. 8,783 people worldwide.
66% of participants want to make a personal commitment to the Foundation thanks to Race For Vision.
71% were motivated to engage in sporting activities thanks to the challenge.
"We saw a real difference in terms of commitment. Participation was at all levels: factories, retails, office."
